Questions
Is everything here really caffeine-free?
Yes. Not a section, not a filter — the entire catalogue. Most of it is naturally caffeine-free, meaning it never contained any. Where a tea has been decaffeinated instead, the product page says so.
We wrote a longer explanation of the difference, and of how caffeine actually gets removed, on our Decaf, explained page.
Can I drink these while pregnant?
That is a question for your midwife or doctor, not for a shop, and we are not going to tell you a tea is safe.
What we can do is be useful. Our Expecting door is sourced against a written ingredient list rather than just filtered for caffeine, because plenty of caffeine-free herbs are ones people are told to be careful with in pregnancy. A tea only goes in that door when we can name everything in it. We publish the full ingredient list on every product so you can take it to someone qualified.
What does shipping cost, and how long does it take?
Free over $50. Under that it is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
Delivery depends on which grower your tea came from — 1–3 business days from Birdsong in California, 3–5 from Miracle Tree and PAAVANI, and 8–20 from The Brew Company in Denmark. Full detail is in our shipping policy.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not yet.
Can I return tea?
Yes, within 30 days, unopened and in its original packaging. Food safety is why the unopened part matters — we cannot resell tea that has been opened, and we would not want to buy it either.
If something arrives damaged, wrong, or does not arrive at all, that is not a return, it is our problem. Email jeff@itevolve.net with your order number and we will sort it.
Is it organic?
Much of it, and the product page says which. Where a tea carries USDA Organic certification we state it; where we have not been able to confirm the certifying body, we say that instead of implying it.
Loose leaf or tea bags?
Both, and each product page says which and how much you get. The Miracle Tree range is plastic-free, biodegradable, staple-free bags. PAAVANI and Birdsong are loose leaf, mostly in tins with a refill option.
Will this help me sleep, digest, relax, or anything else?
We are not going to say so, and you should be a little suspicious of any tea shop that does.
What is true and checkable is that none of it contains caffeine. If you are avoiding caffeine after a certain hour, that is a real thing a tea can do for you. Anything beyond that is a claim we are not qualified to make.
How do I brew it?
Every product page carries brewing instructions for that specific tea, because a rooibos and a delicate fruit infusion do not want the same treatment. As a general rule: water just off the boil, 4–7 minutes, and herbals are far more forgiving of a long steep than real tea is.
